Description

Vegans often get accused of using ‘biased’ videos and sources to argue their points against the consumption of animal products. But let’s stop and think about this for a moment...

Given that:

A. Most of what we hear about the ‘benefits’ of consuming animal products are industry-funded or propagated.

B. Animal products are the world’s largest addiction, and anyone arguing for their consumption is essentially an addict to what they’re arguing for: what actually is an unbiased source when it comes to arguing FOR the consumption of animal products?

Just as an example: people might point to Denise Minger’s attempted refutation of The China Study (which is the most comprehensive nutritional study in human history, and concluded that a whole foods plant-based diet free of animal products was the optimum diet for human health) as an ‘unbiased source’, but Denise Minger’s personal story is that she is an ‘ex vegan’ and, by her own account, one day (while supposedly ‘vegan’) she just saw some sushi in front of her when sitting down to eat and just grabbed it because she couldn’t hold herself back, and that was the end of her ‘veganism’ - so this woman is an addict herself, yet non-vegans hang on her every word when it comes to dismissing The China Study. Hardly an ‘unbiased source’, is it?

As it happens, The China Study is about the least biased source vegans could possibly use to refute the idea that animal products are necessary or healthy. Despite what non-vegans say, the study was not conducted to fit any ‘vegan agenda’, given that the people who conducted the study themselves are NOT VEGANS! T Colin Campbell himself (the author of the book which reports the findings of the very study he conducted along with researchers from Cornell, Oxford, and the Chinese government) is ‘plant based’, not vegan (he is an animal tester and only eats vegan for dietary reasons).

So I’m wondering where all these unbiased sources that promote the consumption of animal products are, exactly?
